The 30″ Tree Spade Attachment from Spartan Equipment turns your skid loader into a high speed, labor saving, transplanting unit. A tree can be rooted up or transplanted without the operator having to leave the loader. The spade is designed with a very short frame reducing the need for stabilizers and counterweights. Fingertip controls are integrated into the loader handles for ease of use. There is also the in-cab wired electrical control kit as well as a wireless control kit option. The blades of the tree spade overlap to ensure a clean removal and provide extra support for the root ball. Cuts a 30″ diameter root ball, 29″ deep with fully truncated and removable 3/8″ thick steel blades that are set at 25°. The wide opening of the spade easily accommodates 3″ diameter evergreens and 2.5″ hardwood.
